Yeo Siok Koon
Dr Yeo Siok Koon possessed her PhD from Universiti Sains Malaysia, Malaysia and is now a senior lecturer in Taylor’s University, Malaysia. Her passion in teaching is recognized where she obtained an award from her institution for excellence teaching and a national award. Before she joined as an academician in Taylor’s University, she worked as a postdoctoral researcher in Korea. Her research work focuses on probiotics and prebiotics. Her main research objective is to develop food products with enhanced functional properties. To date, she has published more than 20 indexed journals and book chapters. She has also genuinely shared her findings and knowledge in various national and international conferences.
