Biography
An agroecologist and mainly focus in nutrient cycling and nutrient resource management in both organic and mineral material in wide areal scales in Japan. I got bachelor degree by cation and anion cycling in Japanese red pine forest. Then I got master degree by establishment of microbial biomass carbon in forest leaf litter and relationship between litter decomposition speed and microbial biomass. I got permanent job at 1994 in Tohoku Agricultural Experimental Station then move to National Institute for Agro-Environmental Sciences. I got doctor degree by soil surface nitrogen balance and possible mitigation potential for typical prefectures. I have published more than 30 papers and more than 15 English edited and 15 Japanese edited books.
