Biography
Junye Wang is a full professor and Campus Alberta Innovation Program Chair at Athabasca University, Canada, since 2013. He received his M.Sc. degree in thermo-physics from Harbin Engineering University, in 1989 and Ph.D. degrees in chemical and mechanical engineering from East China University of Science and Technology in 1996. Then he joined Shanghai Jiaotong University as an associate professor. From 1999 till 2012 he worked at the Universities of Sheffield, Greenwich, Loughborough and Scottish Crop Research Institute and Rothamsted Research, UK, as research associate, research scientist and principal research scientist, respectively. He has 30 years of experience in the energy, environment and sustainability. His recent research interests are mainly on energy and environmental modelling. He has also been reviewer for more than 50 various international journals and has served on the associated editor and editorial member for several journals and served regularly the program committee of energy and environmental conferences.
